Ben started shooting after an argument with a homeless Nepalese vagrant, over a back ally poker game, landed him with 4 stitches and an old Nikon FM 35mm camera.

His first subject matter was alpaca's and yak's, but these roots soon transitioned into fashion and portraiture.

Benjamin spend high school chatting to girls, but outside of that he was either shooting the world he saw or barricaded inside the darkroom in B-block hiding from teachers and learning post-processing techniques. Eventually someone invented Photoshop and all those skills came to naught, so Ben broke free and modelled for 16 years around the world until he could afford a digital camera.

Focussing on 'shit that looks cool', Ben has forwarded his photographic voice to form a medium sized body of work that Mum thinks really has potential.
